Media manual - changing attitudes to disabled people
The media has a powerful effect on social norms. This media manual has tips and practical information on using the media to change attitudes and behaviour towards disabled people.
This manual was produced during the Think Differently campaign run by the Ministry of Social Development for five years until mid-2015.
The manual can be used to:
- improve coverage of disability
- get your message out
- create a more supportive, inclusive environment for people with disabilities.
