NZSL Week 2018

The NZSL Board proudly contributes to Deaf Aotearoa to support a range of awareness raising activities organised for throughout the NZSL week.

Throughout the week Deaf Aotearoa is running an NZSL Leaders' Challenge -  a challenge to leaders in New Zealand who don’t know NZSL, to learn and sign a brief message to show their support for NZSL Week.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was one of the first to take up the challenge.

Minister for Disability Issues Carmel Sepuloni also signed a message.
