Benefits of creating inclusive workplaces
Research has been carried out on the importance of social inclusion and natural supports for staff with disabilities or mental health issues.
Edge Employment in Auckland worked with employers and businesses on the benefits of creating inclusive workplaces.
They have written a research report and an evaluation report about their project particularly focussed on the importance of social inclusion and natural supports for staff with disabilities or mental health issues.
The research was funded by the Think Differently campaign that was run by the Ministry of Social Development for five years until mid-2015.
