Guides for school leaders and teachers
The Inclusive Education website has more than 20 guides to support school leaders and teachers to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Inclusive education is where all children and young people are engaged and achieve through being present, participating, learning and belonging.
The Inclusive Education website, which is provided by the Ministry of Education, offers New Zealand educators practical strategies, suggestions and resources to support learners with diverse needs.
The guides on the site are intended for educators who have students who may not be receiving specialist assistance and funding through Ministry of Education services, though the content will be useful when thinking about all students.
