Creating Welcoming Churches was launched in Auckland in October 2014.
Rev Vicki Terrell, who chairs New Zealand’s Disability, Spirituality and Faith Network, which produced the resource, says, “No matter what a person’s station is in life, no matter what struggles they may be facing – or whether they come to church as a visitor or as part of the regular congregation, the environment needs to be welcoming.”
The booklet costs $10 plus $5 post and packaging and is available from ericar@paradise.net.nz.
