Office for Disability Issues integrated into Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People

The ODI team will continue their important mahi(work) as part of the Policy, Strategy and Partnerships Group within Whaikaha, including partnering on the New Zealand Disability Strategy and Action Plan, interagency advice based on the UNCRPD, and advice for the Minister for Disability Issues.  
 
The New Zealand Sign Language Board and the team supporting them will remain the same.   
 
You will start to see changes as we transition ODI communications over to Whaikaha so we encourage you to start following Whaikaha channels to keep up to date. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.
